Join the Selby Ave JazzFest Flash Mob Band!
Do you play an instrument? Brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion—or anything in between? We want you to help us kick off this year’s Selby Ave JazzFest with a bang!
We are assembling a secret, one-of-a-kind JazzFest Flash Mob Band to launch the festival with an unforgettable, surprise pop-up performance. This is your chance to be part of the magic, bring high-energy music directly to the community, and start the day with an electric vibe.
The Plan & The Surprise
We are keeping things under wraps until the perfect moment. The flash mob will officially ignite right at the end of the Selby Avenue Brass Band’s performance. As their final notes ring out, our pop-up band will emerge directly from the crowd to keep the music moving and the energy soaring!
To make sure we hit the ground running, grab the charts ahead of time so you can practice and learn your part before the big day.

- Call Time: 11:30 AM (Make sure you are in place and tuned up!)

How to Participate
- Get the Music: Use the link below to get the charts and practice at home.
- Blend In: Arrive at Selby & Milton by 11:30 AM on Sept 12, enjoy the festival, and blend into the crowd during the Selby Avenue Brass Band’s set.
- Play! When the cue drops at the end of their performance, pull out your instrument and join the sound!
